Yet most of us are falling far short. Globally, the average mobile page takes.... 15 seconds to fully load! So the most important thing you can do to improve your mobile experience — is to make it fast. Revamping the mobile site is usually de-prioritised. This is because a lot of retailers get a low share of revenue from mobile. However, a mobile website visit might be influencing a large share of store revenue, that is not being considered. Understanding the role of your website in purchase journeys, both online and in store will help evaluate the importance of this particular channel. Even in 2019, 61% of shoppers would rather shop with brands that also have a physical location than ones that are online only. For this preference to continue, it’s important that retailers make progress in the above areas and make it convenient and easy for their customers to explore, purchase and interact with the brand when they are online. Your stores will thank you for it!
